Product Materials & Manufacturing
WOLF-Garten tools are manufactured using high-quality cold-rolled carbon steel rather than stainless steel. To ensure durability and resistance to the elements, the steel is zinc-plated.
The majority of WOLF-Garten products are engineered and manufactured at a high-tech facility in Germany.
We constantly strive to improve our designs. As a result, products may undergo minor updates in appearance, colouration, or ergonomic features. The images on our website represent the most current version of each product.
Guarantee & Warranty
The guarantee duration depends on the product type and year of manufacture:
- multi-change® Range: Products manufactured from 2018 onwards carry a 35-year guarantee. Items manufactured before 2018 carry a 10-year guarantee.
- Fixed Hand Tools & Cutting Range: These products carry a 10-year guarantee.
- Other Products: Guarantee periods vary between 2 and 5 years.
You can verify the specific guarantee for any item by checking the badge in the top-right corner of the individual product page.
You are not required to register your purchase. If you purchased directly from our website, your confirmation email serves as your proof of purchase. If you purchased from a retail stockist, please retain your till receipt, as it is essential for any future claims.
The guarantee protects against manufacturing defects and faulty materials. It does not cover standard wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.
The guarantee does not cover:
- General wear and tear (e.g., blades becoming blunt through use).
- Damage caused by rusting, corrosion, lack of maintenance, or improper storage.
- Modifications made to the tool without written approval from E.P. Barrus Ltd.
- Claims made by anyone other than the original purchaser (the guarantee is non-transferable).
Please email wolf-garten@barrus.co.uk with the following details so our technical team can review your claim:
- A clear photo of the item (showing the branding/logo).
- A copy of your proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
- A brief description of the fault.
- Your full name, address, and contact number.
Under our Terms & Conditions, valid proof of purchase is required for a guarantee claim. If you cannot locate your receipt, you may still contact us via our web form with a description and photo of the issue. While we will do our best to offer a resolution, we cannot guarantee a free replacement without a receipt.
Technical Support & Spare Parts
We do not offer an in-house sharpening or repair service. For blade maintenance, we recommend using a specialist sharpener or visiting your local garden centre. We do offer a Wilkinson Sword Sharpener on our website, which is ideal for maintaining pruners, shears, and loppers.
Mowers require inspection by a specialist. Please visit our Stockist Locator and select LAWNFLITE from the filter options. These authorised dealers are equipped to service and repair WOLF-Garten mowers. Please note that faults found to be caused by misuse or wear and tear (rather than manufacturing defects) will incur an inspection and repair charge.
Yes, spare parts are available for most of our range. Our official spare parts partner is Pearsons. They can offer technical advice and supply the specific components you require:

Orders & Delivery
We’ll send a tracking notification your way as soon as your order is dispatched. You can also check on your delivery at any time by logging into your account. We aim to deliver everything within 2–4 working days; if your order hasn’t arrived by then, please let us know via our contact form, quoting your order number.
Please check your spam/junk folder. If you cannot find the email and no payment has been deducted from your account, the order was likely unsuccessful. If payment has been taken, please contact us via our web form with your full name, delivery address, and the date of purchase so we can locate your order.
Our website displays the current WOLF-Garten UK range. If a product is missing, it has likely been discontinued or is no longer imported into the UK. Once a product is discontinued, we are unable to supply further stock.
Adding a discount or promotional code to your order is simple. Follow these steps to apply your savings:
- View Your Cart: Once you have selected your items, click the shopping bag icon and select ‘Checkout’.
- Enter the Code: * On Desktop: You will see a field labelled ‘Discount code’ on the right-hand side of the screen, just above your order total.On Mobile: At the top of the checkout page, tap ‘Show order summary’ to reveal the discount code field.
- Apply: Type or paste your code into the box and click ‘Apply’. The discount will be automatically deducted from your total before you complete your payment.
Please Note: Only one discount code can be used per order. Ensure the code is entered exactly as shown, as they are often case-sensitive. If you have any trouble applying a valid code, please Contact Our Team before completing your purchase.
Returns & Exchanges
To initiate a return, please contact us via our web form or email wolf-garten@barrus.co.uk with your receipt number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with a Returns Authorisation Number and specific instructions. Please note that any unauthorised returns sent without a returns number will be rejected.
We do not offer a direct exchange service. If you require a different product, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the preferred item.
